Q: How do I know if I have Gen 1 or Gen 2 hardware?
A: Glove Customers: You own generation 1 technology if your batteries have a Heat button and indicator lights built into on the battery power pac. You own generation 2 technology if you have a plain battery and the heat control button and indicator lights are located on the thumb of the gloves.

Q: Where can I shop for Thermologic clothing and accessories?
A: Thermologic is only available on line. It may be purchased securely online through this website or other major e-commerce sites.

Q: Are extra batteries and chargers available?
A: Yes, extra batteries and chargers are available at www.thermologicgear.com.

Q: How do I adjust the temperature?
A: All Thermologic items have three temperature settings: high, medium, and low. Toggle to the desired setting by repeatedly pressing the heat button. See your owner’s manual for temperatures ratings for your specific product.

Q: How long do the batteries last?
A: Heat duration depends on the temperature settings used, please see your instruction manual for your specific product ratings.

Q: How do I store my Thermologic Batteries in the off-season?
A: Remove your batteries or Power-Pac's from the product and fully charge prior to storing. Store your batteries inside and remember to re-charge prior to use.

Q: What is the warranty policy?
A. All Thermologic clothing and accessories come with a 1 year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser from the date of purchase. If you experience any problems, have questions, or wish to return your product for warranty service, please do not return the product to your retailer. Q: I have a pace maker, can I use Thermologic products?

A: We do not recommend using Thermologic products if you use a pace maker or similar device.

Q: I have arthritis or other condition resulting in poor circulation? Should I use Thermologic products?

A: Although many users have reported successful use of Thermologic products to help these conditions, please consult your doctor prior to using Thermologic items to treat any medical condition. Thermologic products are not approved for medical use.

Q: Are Women's sizes available?
A: Not at this time, although they may be introduced in the future.

Q: Do you reccomend Thermologic Gloves for Motorcycle riding?
A: We have had many positive reviews by riders using Thermologic gloves. In 2008, we added many design features that make them even better for riding including a waterproof baggie liner, Thinsulate Insulation, and a re-designed grip.

Q: Do you reccomend Thermologic Gloves for bow hunting?

A: Although we designed flexibility into our Thermologic gloves, the long gauntlet and battery pack location may make it difficult to use a trigger release with Thermologic gloves.

Q: My Gen 2 Gloves have indicator lights that are blinking. What do I do?
A: This may indicate the battery charge level is too low to power the unit and your batteries require charging. If recharging your battery does not solve the issue, try a second battery if available. If the issue persists, call customer service.

Q: My Gen 2 glove does not get warm OR there are no lights working. What do I do?
A: Ensure you have a fully charged battery and the battery plug is connected securely to the socket in the battery pocket. Firmly press and hold the heat button at the center of the thumb control for 3 seconds until the indicator turns-on.

FAQ pertaining to clothing only with generation 1

Q: How do I know if my batteries are charging?
A: Thermologic chargers use a multi-color indicator light to show the charging status. The indicator light turns Red when a battery is connected and is receiving a charge. The indicator light turns Green when the battery is fully charged or if not battery is connected.

Q: There are no lights on my Generation 1 batteries. What do I do?
A: Ensure your battery is fully charged by re-charging the battery per your manual's instructions. After charging, hold the heat button down for 3 seconds. If no lights function please call customer service.

Q: There are no lights on my charger. What do I do?
A: If you have Generation 1 hardware, please ensure the sticker on the side of your charger matches the product you are charging. The sticker will indicate if the charger is for Gloves & Accessories or Jackets/Vests. If you are using the correct charger and the indicator light does not function when plugged in, please call customer service.

Q: My charger has a flashing red light when I try to charge the batteries. What do I do?
A: If the charger indicator light flashes Red when charging two batteries, this may indicate one battery is already charged. Try charging each battery separately until the indicator turns green and fully charged. If the indicator still flashes RED when charging one battery please call customer service.

FAQ pertaining to Generation 1 gloves only

Q: My Gen 1 Power-Pac has indicator lights that are flashing. What do I do?
A: Follow the following steps to determine the cause of the error code.

  • Step 1: Your power pac may be not have sufficient charge to power the printed heating element. Fully re-charge the battery and re-test by attaching the battery to the garment and turn on by holding the heat button for 3 seconds. If the battery still flashes the indicator lights, continue to step 2.
  • Step 2: If recharging does not eliminate the flashing code, ensure your garments battery clip is fully inserted into the battery. Gen 1 Thermologic batteries will error after 5 seconds if not connected to the garment.
  • Step 3: If you still have a flashing indicator, test the battery on another heated element prior to calling customer service. For gloves, test the battery on the opposite hand. For dual battery clothing, test the battery on the trace clip located in the opposite pocket. For single battery clothing, use a second Thermologic garment if available.

Q: There are no lights on my Gen 1 Power-Pacs. What do I do?
